We provide a warm and friendly home away from home for you to stay in.

Our house is modern, warm, comfortable, quiet and smoke free inside; it is only 5 minutes walk to the university and 10 minutes to the College of Education. Also there is a very good bus service near to the house making it easy to travel anywhere in the city.

We are Pat and Prem your homestay parents and we have been living in New Zealand since 1998, before that we lived in the UK. Prem is from Mauritius and Pat is from the UK. We have previous experience with homestays and enjoy meeting young people from around the world. With our two sons both currently attending university we are well aware of the needs of students and their unique lifestyles.

There is always more than one student staying with us so you get the opportunity to meet students of your age and from different countries. In the house we encourage English to be spoken as much as possible and with others learning around you it provides an ideal environment to learn the English language.
